Arcadian's New RAPIDS Catalog - 100% RoHS Compliant!

Hello, my name is Mike Crudele, President of Arcadian Sales, the world’s #1 distributor for the BEL family of products. I’d like to ask you to spend the next few minutes with me learning about our latest release of our RAPIDs catalog, which is available as a download in PDF format here. The catalog highlights BEL parts that are recommend for new designs, and this issue is specifically dedicated to 100% RoHS compliant products from BEL.

If you turn to the first page of the RAPID’s catalog, you’ll find BEL POWER point of load dc/dc converters. ARCADIAN chose just a handful of parts that we felt would cover every application. For example, the ArrowHead part # S7AH-08E1A0, which is RoHS “5”compliant and can substitute for 75% of the point of load converters BEL offers. We carry this part in stock, and we’ll soon have the full RoHS part in stock as well.

Next, we’ll talk about MagJack, BEL’s RJ45 connectors with integrated magnetics for Gigabit and 10/100 ethernet. ARCADIAN has shipped MagJacks to more customers than every other BEL distributor combined. We typically can ship from 1 to 1000 pcs of any standard MagJack in 1-2 days.

I’d like to draw your attention to the part numbers starting with SI. These are the MagJacks that were developed at the Stewart division of BEL. ARCADIAN has made a commitment to carry inventory of the RoHS equivalent to each and every SI number that you find in this cross reference.
