These Phantom style omni antennas offer significant advantages over their 3G predescessors.
1. The TRA6927M3 is backwards compatible to 2G/3G and it covers the new 700 mhz and 2700 mhz 4G/LTE frequencies.
2. The TRA6927M3 offers higher gain at each band, with 3.5 dBi at 698-960 mhz, 5.5 dBi at 1710-1990 mhz, and 4.6 dBi at 2100-2700 mhz (2.1-2.7 ghz)
3. The TRA6927M3 offer a price point that is 5% LOWER than existing 3G mobile antennas.
Please note that the new 4G/3G Phantom® Antenna from Laird Technologies is Ideal for all 700/806/850/1800/1900/2100/2300/2500/2600 MHz Applications, that includes public safety, M2M/machin-to-machine, SCADA, utilities, oil and gas monitoring, agricultural irrigation, even video transmission and security cameras.
Arcadian Inc. is proud to announce the exciting news! Laird Tecnologies plans to announce their rugged, low-profile "Phantom" omnidirectional antenna solution in June 2012, and WE WILL HAVE INVENTORY AVAILABLE. This series of antennas will be compatible with radios & modems operating at any 3G/4G-LTE frequnecy. The antenna is perfect for utilities doing DCU (data collection units) police & fire departments for public safety, M2M, in-building-wireless applicaitons, etc.
This antenna, combined with an appropriate cable kit, can be used with all of the most popular 3G and 4G radios / modems from all the top suppliers including Verizon, Sprint and AT&T as well as Novatel, Sierra Wirless, CradlePoint, etc.
Laird Technologies’ unique Phantom® antenna operates simultaneously in the 698-960 MHz
and 1700-2700 MHz bands, making it ideal for 4G/3G applications. The mechanically robust
design is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications with wide bandwidth and a low
angle radiation pattern that is superior to traditional gain antennas in most applications.
The antenna is ideal for both ceiling and surface mount applications.
The industry standard NMO mounting socket mates with all Laird Technologies’ magnetic,
trunk lid and hole mount configurations. A threaded permanent stud mount model is
also available for vandal resistant mounting on brackets, panels, ceilings or any other
kind of housing.
