The 64 series is a Category 5 / Cat 5E plug, meaning it is for optimized for datacom / telecom applications running at 10 base T or 10/100 speeds. The 71 series is designed to be used in Category 6 / Cat 6A applications running at 10 baseT, 10/100, Gigabit (1000 base T) or 10 Gig. Now, Bel Stewart Connector is offering all of the latest configurations of MRJ21 cables. Bel Stewart has a license from Tyco to build and sell MRJ21 cables with both MRJ21 terminations and Cat 6 connectors.
